As you are leaving Kilkenny City (R693), the B&B is located on the right hand side of Freshford Road.

Description

Comfortable and welcoming, Killarney House has five rooms with good quality en suites and a garden open to guest use where you can get some fresh air and relax. Accommodation comprises of 2 family rooms ( double/single ), 2 double rooms and 1 single room, each with ensuite facilities, TV, hair dryer and hospitality tray. Off street private car park for up to 9 cars.  You can bring your pet along to roam outside and there’s a laundry service, payphone and private car park for your convenience.

It’s a family friendly guesthouse and they have a comprehensive range of children’s facilities.  The whole house is heated.

Staying at Killarney House provides you with the ideal vantage point for enjoying the city of Kilkenny and beyond. Well known for it’s lively nightlife, there’s a plethora of bars, restaurants and clubs for you to check out, along with an assortment of landmarks.  See Kilkenny Castle, or check out St Francis’s Brewery, home of Smithwicks and Kilkenny beer. Marvel at the shiny limestone façades of the old buildings in the centre of town and if you want to get away from it all you can have a walk round Barrow Valley and do a spot of fishing in the River Nore.

Terence was very friendly and professional. The B&B was centrally located so easy to walk around if you don't have a car. Great choice of cereals at breakfast!
