overall it was a fantastic weekend, Hotel was excellent, staff aproacable and helpfull in all our needs, food and entertainment was enjoyable , The hotel was in walking distance of everywhere we wanted to goo.We will certainly be going to the kilford arms again....

Bar staff in hotel excellent, reception staff were the worst I have ever come across. Working in a hotel background myself I would say not one bit of hotel training was giving between the lot of the reception staff. Very rude and not one bit of information given to us when we checked in re breakfast or checkout times.Rooms were alright.Shower was broken and was reported first thing on the morning of the second day. This complaint had to be followed up that night as nobody had come up to look at it.

Checking out!! This was the worst break we have ever been on. We didnt get any sleep the first night as the couple in the next room fought all night. On the second night a group of young dubliners started a party outside our door in the corridor at 4 in the morning. It went on until half 5 in the morning.There was no answer from reception when we rang down. Would not reccommend this hotel. We got no satisfaction from the receptionist when we complained. Had paid the full amount on arrival so we had no come back. It saddens me to say that our experience of this hotel was both upsetting and dsappointing.

Great location. 3 minute walk to new shopping centre & the town centre. Noise from the nightclub in the hotel was audible from our room but it wasnt so bad that it kept us awake.

Nice hotel with lots to do,drink and eat but the rooms are nothing special! Very basic but the bathroom was horrible! Great location,loved kilkenny!!!

The hotel was right in the middle of the city which was great for shopping and going out at night. Staff were lovely and very helpful.
