Charlefield Farmhouse is a grand old country house dating back as far as 200 years, and is situated in the beautiful Inistioge area of County Kilkenny.
It has excellent views overlooking the River Barrow, as well as a finely kept garden area where you can appreciate the surrounding scenery and the fresh rural air. It’s a large and grandiose residence oozing elegance and character in equal measure, and it’s location provides an ideal vantage point from which to see Kilkenny.
There are three rooms on the premises, comprising one single room and a double and single room with en suites.

They are a family friendly house and have the appropriate facilities, and guide dogs are also welcome on the premises. The whole house is fully central heated and non smoking, and there’s a private car park.
Staying at Inistioge gives you the wonderful opportunity to investigate this quaint little town, while there are plenty of chances to enjoy the abundance of outdoor pursuits available locally. Head north to Thomastown for a round of golf at Mount Juliet, or go for a spot of fishing on the River Barrow. Why not do a spot of shopping at Kilkenny and stop to admire the famous local architecture.
