Established 1972 Golf at Waterville is mystical experience - the beauty of classic links land, surrounded by the sea, yet challenged by the elements. Waterville is rated among the top five courses in Ireland. The present course owes its start to John A. Mulcahy, an Irish American golf addict, who developed it with the aid of Eddie Hackett during the 1970s. Probably the best-known hole is the 17th, 'Mulcahy's Peak', a 196 yard par 3 with an elevated tee and an emerald green set in a jungle of rough. From the tee one can see the links set in the most perfect linksland in Europe. Not to be missed.

Requirements: Handicap certificate required and Membership of another club required.
Hire facilities: Club hire, Trolley hire, Caddy availability and Buggy (powered golf cart) hire.
Practice ground: Driving range and putting green available.
