With excellent angling facilities you can fish to your heart’s content or perhaps you would prefer to test your golfing skills at nearby Killorglin Golf Club. The town of Killorglin itself has many fine pubs and restaurants, where seafood is always on the menu.
Cappanalea Outdoor Education Centre is a mere 3km away.
Guests can enjoy a nature trail through Blackstones Native Oakwood. The woodland is entirely within Killarney National Park, the McGillicuddy Reeks and Caragh Lake catchment. There is a mixed age canopy dominated by sessile oak. There is also Birch, Holly, and ground layer species are well represented. The woodland is bound on both sides by the upper and small Caragh Rivers.
