Turn left on leaving Seefin Grove and Glenbeigh Hotel (one of Ireland's oldest hotels) is a two-minute walk away. The public bar serves food all day, with a menu to suit all, from traditional dishes such as Irish stew and bacon and cabbage to freshly caught seafood and the chef's famous sirloin steaks.
Walking is very popular in Glenbeigh and the surrounding area.  The mountain scenery is magnificent, with a circuit of hills from Seefin to Drung Hill called the Glenbeigh Horseshoe. A great location as there is a fantastic beach nearby. The property is near to the village so can stock up on supplies as and when needed. The owner was very helpful indeed and provided us with substantial information for different locations/activities within the Kerry region.

Lovely house in very good condition, finished to a high spec. Very clean throughout. Glenbeigh is a lovely spot and an excellent base to explore further a field from. Beautiful beach at Rossbeigh. Plenty of good places to eat in. Only issue was that local shops were pricey. Overall would highly recommend this house and location.
