Location
Travel on the N69 from Listowel to Tarbert. Approximately 2 miles from Listowel after the Amber Service Station, it’s the first B&B; on the right hand side.
From here, you can travel all over the county and country at your ease. With the ferry nearby, you can hop across to Clare or just take a drive through the world famous Kerry countryside. Why not take a trip to Dingle, explore the beautiful Muckross Park in Killarney or just enjoy some well deserved retail therapy in Limerick City. Rest and relax while you’re in Ireland – come and go as you please.

There are a total of four well-appointed bedrooms in the house. Each room has tea/coffee facilities and there’s even a laundry service on offer if you want to take advantage of that. As well as all this, there is the convenience of hair dryers in the rooms, so don’t worry if you forget it while your packing.
The property welcomes families and offers a babysitting service if you decide to enjoy a romantic meal in the town during your stay. For those of you just looking for some peace and quiet, why not relax with a glass of wine and a good book in the garden - a little piece of heaven surrounds you right outside the door.

Listowel is proud to be the home of ‘Writers Week’. This is one of Ireland’s leading literary festival. This festival is held in June and attracts writers of all levels and ages. The festival is a great hit with families and has a host of activities to keep the kids occupied.
If your more of a history buff then maybe Listowel Castle might interest you. Did you know that it’s the birthplace of Earl Kitchener of Khartoum, the serious figure with an unrepentant finger pointing towards you with the caption ‘ Your Country Needs You’ on recruitment posters in World War I. Take some time to discover the culture and history that waits you there.
With so much happening in Listowel throughout the year, the difficulty is deciding on when to come. The Listowel Races take place in April and September; The Garden of Europe is a delightful hidden gem in the town containing a wide variety of scrubs and greenery from all over Europe. And of course, we must not forget the Food Festival in November. Needless to say the variety of award winning restaurants in the town would satisfy the fussiest eater.
Take the ferry from Tarbert and explore the diverse landscape of Clare. One minute you can dip your toes into the cool waters of Kilkee beach and the next you could be discovering the barren yet beautiful landscape of the Burren. With Kerry on your doorstep, then a tour of The Ring of Kerry is a must!
