Alternatively guests can dine in GB Shaw's fine dining restaurant. Superb food with an Irish and European focus, makes GB Shaw's a culinary delight. Menus vary from Table d'hote to 2 course set menus. Seafood is noted on the menus with fresh options everyday. Afterwards enjoy a cocktail or drink in Monk's Bar.

The Cloisters Spa Experience is available to all residents in the hotel. Our award winning Spa is open daily with a charge for access to The Vitality Pool and Thermal Area. These facilities are a treatment in their own right and have been designed to provide a relaxing and rejuvenating Spa experience to the highest international standards. If purchasing a treatment or therapy, access is then included in the price. Cloisters Spa has recently won A World Luxury Award as "Best International Spa 2011".

Touring Killarney

Muckross Park Hotel is located 3km from Killarney Town opposite Muckross House and Gardens on the main Kenmare Road. The Muckross Park Hotel enjoys a prime location, just opposite Killarney National Park. Muckross House, the Abbey, Traditional Farms and lakeshore are all within a few minutes walk from the hotel. Muckross House and Gardens
Muckross House is a magnificent Victorian mansion and stately home, which was built in 1843. It is beautifully situated amidst the spectacular scenery of Killarney National Park. The mansion’s elegantly furnished rooms and high ceilings portray the lifestyle of the 1800’s. Tours are available.
Torc Waterfall
This beautiful waterfall is 60 feet high and is located 7km from Killarney town. Its will worth a visit as you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Killarney and the surrounding area.
Blue Pool Nature Reserve
Just before Molly Darcy’s Pub on the right hand side, you will discover the Blue Pool Nature Reserve, where local wildlife has made its home, capture Kingfishers feasting on trout, badger trails and much more.

Whether you come for one treatment or a tailor-made package just for you, our wonderful Spa Hosts will ensure that you have the ultimate Spa experience. Please note there is a charge for use of the Vitality Area.

The Spa consists of a vitality pool with hydro jets, a relaxation area with heated stone seats, sauna, jacuzzi, salt grotto, an ice shower and out-door hot tub.

The Spa offers a range of interesting treatments and therapies for ladies, gentlemen and couples. There is something to suit everyone. Here is a small sample of what you can choose from:

From Dec ’11 onwards the entrance fee from Cloisters Spa for residents will be removed.
