The Meadowlands Hotel is a renowned 4 star hotel sitting at the edge of the beautiful town of Tralee in County Kerry. This charming hotel has a wonderful location in Oakpark, about a 10 minute walk from Tralee town centre. Bedrooms in the Meadowlands Hotel are furnished and decorated to the highest standard. All 58 rooms are ensuite and come with individually controlled air conditioning. Other amenities in the rooms include a TV, an internet port, telephone, trouser press, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Approaching from Dublin and Limerick in the Castleisland direction continue into Tralee town on the N21 road. Continue through 3 roundabouts directly into the town, the N21 flows into the N22 after the second roundabout. At the 3rd roundabout go straight towards the town centre. At the next junction take the 2nd exit to the N69 Listowel Road. At the following junction turn right onto Edward Street and continue onto Oakpark Road. The hotel is located on the right hand side.
The hotel has its own Johnny Franks bar which is a good place to go for a quick pint or a bite to eat. The bar is the frequent venue of live music and is popular with locals and visitors alike. The 'An Pota Stóir', the hotel's award winning restaurant, is a good place to go if you are looking for something more substantial to eat. The proprietor of the hotel Paddy O'Mahony also runs a number of fishing boats, so you can be sure of the freshest of locally caught seafood when dining at the hotel.
