Your host Liz will ensure you enjoy a pleasant getaway and will supply maps, directions and leaflets of local attractions in the Killarney area. Bus tours can also be booked from the property.
Angling, cycling, hillwalking and golf are just some of the fantastic outdoor activites which can be enjoyed locally
Directions
From Killarney follow the road to Killorglin for 3 miles, take a left at the Golden Nugget Pub. Take the next right and take a left at the Kileen House Hotel, travel for 2 miles to the top of the hill and take a left at crossroads. The property is 1/4 miles down this road.

A visit to this beautiful Georgian mansion is a must for any visitor to the area as it is listed among the top tourist attractions in Ireland. The mansion was built in 1843 and is surrounded by stunning gardens, numerous forest walks and cycling paths. Don’t forget your camera!
Ross Castle, Ross Road, Killarney
Ross castle was probably built in the late 15th century by one of the O'Donoghue Ross Chieftains, although the date of its foundation is unsure. From here you can enjoy boat trips around the beautiful Lakes of Killarney. Again there are numerous walking and cycling routes to be enjoyed and if you’re really lucky you might be able to capture on camera the red deer’s which roam freely around the national park.
Torc Mountain and Waterfall, Killarney.
This is your opportunity to get active and climb to some dizzy heights during your holiday! This stunning waterfall is a great place to take some holiday snaps walk on further for some stunning view of Killarney and the surrounding lakes, its quite a climb but worth the effort so wear comfortable shoes and bring some refreshment.
