Dooks Golf cLub was established in 1889 and is one of the oldest Links in Ireland. It is thought of as one of the finest Golf Courses in the country and can proudly boast to have some of the most unique and breathtaking scenery.
The layout of the course was upgraded by renowned Golf Architect Martin Hawtree resulting in 16 redesigned holes. This has further added to the golfing challenge and is an interesting test for all levels of golfer.

Directions

Located along the N70 Ring Of Kerry Road. Follow the N70 from Killarney through Killorglin town heading for Glenbeigh village. You will see signposts to the right for the golf course.

Environment

Dooks Golf Course is situated on one of the most picturesque and stunning shores along Kerry's coast. With Dingle Bay in the distance and the Mcgillicuddy Reeks in the background you will never be short of spectacular views at each and every hole.There is an abundance of unique flora and fauna with plants such as kidney-vetch, Butterwart and purple orchid to name but a few. The natterjack toad resides here living in unison with the many golfers who stroll past its home.

Course Details

Dooks is a Par 71 Golf Links set out over 6500 yards. There is a popular restaurant with a bar also serving good value for money food. Caddy car and Caddies are available on request.
