The cottage was very spacious (the interior photos looked exactly like the living/dining area and kitchen in our cottage) and had a combined clothes washer/dryer which saved us a lot of time - not having to be there to monitor laundry. Dishwasher and laundry tablets were provided, as were an abundance of nice sturdy dishes and cooking supplies (much better than most self caterings we've been to). Blankets were abundant & warm. It was nice having access to the indoor pool and rec facilities. Some negatives to prepare for: the cottages are connected - not individual buildings as photos seem to show, the cottages do not have any view at all of any of the golf course or lake as photo seemed to show (they look out onto parking lot and other cottages), there is a daily fee for electricity that is added onto the price you see online, and we received no welcome/info pack. The only time you can have a view of the lake if you stay in a cottage is when you dine in the restaurant or go golfing - breakfast buffet was priced well and food was fine, and the price for golfing was great but we didn't golf so I can't say how the course is. This was overall a nice place for our family but be sure to plan ahead well to make the most of your trip here and to the Ring of Kerry - I mean ask a lot of questions if you have them and get a good guide book written by a real person who has been there.

This was a fantastic place to stay, appartments exceeded our expectations. Looking forward to going back there again in the near future.
