Bridge Veiw Cottage is a 4 star self catering property located in Beaufort,midway on N72 between Killarney and Killorglin. This two bedroom cottage is decorated in charming traditional style, with a focal point wood and peat burning stove (both of which are provided).
Bridge Veiw is situated 3 miles from Irelands highest mountain Carrauntoohil and the M'Gillicuddy Reeks, 1 mile from the Gap of Dunloe leading to the Black Valley, 1 mile from Tomies wood walks with views of Red deer and only ten minutes drive from the vibrant Killarney town, making this a wonderful central location from where to enjoy all that Kerry has to offer.
The cottage provides luxury self-catering accommodation and sleeps 5 persons (cot supplied on request).
A double bedroom on ground level is furnished with handmade pine furniture and chestnut wooden flooring, generating an atmosphere of warmth. This room leads directly to shower and toilet facilities. A wrought iron spiral staircase fitted with solid oak wooden steps leads to a spacious landing area which is furnished with a wooden wardrobe and futon. Two doors lead from the landing, one accessing the loft bedroom which sleeps 3 persons(1 double and 1 single bed). The second door accesses a fully fitted bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath, electric shower and toilet facilites. Velux windows in the upstairs area further enhance the natural lighting.
The cottage layout includes a fitted kitchen fully equipped with all modern appliances, washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, cooker fridge and microwave. The Kitchen has a solid oak table which seats 5 persons and is placed beside one of the two rustic red brick feature walls.
There is a charming old-style living room with a solid fuel stove surrounded by a spectacular hand cut local stone fireplace, complimented by pine beams and subtle lighting system creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. .Handmade pine furniture adorn the premises throughout and is complimented by wooden flooring of pitch-pine and chestnut. Exposed rafters, stone feature fireplace, wood/peat burning stove, old rectory cast-iron radiators, wrought iron masonry, Scandinavian red wood sash windows and co-ordinating soft furnishings all contribute to a truly charming old world atmosphere.
