Baileys Cottage is an exceptional three bedroom, holiday cottage featuring a traditional open fireplace, high beam ceilings yet having en-suite bedrooms and all modern kitchen conveniences.
A barbeque and patio area is located in a South West facing sun trap. Clean sandy beaches and Castlegregory village are within walking distance.
The cottage is excellently located as a base for touring on the Dingle peninsula.
Bailey Cottage accepts weekly bookings beginning Saturdays.

Located approximately 140 kM from Limerick, and 320 kM from Dublin. The following directions apply when moving to Bailey’s Cottage, Castlegregory when entering the Dingle peninsula from Tralee.
Approaching Tralee from Limerick/Castleisland, Cork/Mallow/Castleisland or Cork/Killarney road take the N86 for Dingle at roundabout outside town near McDonnels fast food restaurant.

The N86 can also be joined from Tralee town. Follow N86 to Blennerville village. Distances are cumulative from Blennerville Bridge, at the entrance to Blennerville village, nearby the landmark Blennerville windmill.

Proceed from Blennerville through Camp 7.4 miles/ 11.9 km. At Camp Junction, 7.6 miles/ 12.2 kM take right fork on R56 towards Castlegregory,Pass Tralee Bay Hotel & Keanes QuikPick Foodstore /TEXACO Petrol station,Turn Right at (second) signpost for Anchor caravan park 12.0 miles/ 19.2 km,Follow minor road & turn left on to private road 12.2 miles / 19.5 km. Baileys cottage is on your right!

The double bedrooms located on the ground floor, with a view onto the front walled garden and beyond to Slieve Mish.

They are tastefully decorated with pine cottage style furniture are en-suite with Shower, Wash Hand Basin and Toilet.

A high beamed ceiling & open fireplace creates a cosy ambience for the holidaymaker in both Summer or Winter.
The kitchen, an addition to the original cottage, is bright & spacious and equipped with all the modern appliances required to prepare holiday meals. Equipment includes fridge freezer, microwave, cooker & dishwasher.
An automatic washing machine/tumbler drier is also provided. A sliding door provides access to a patio area to allow the visitors to enjoy barbecues in the outdoors.

Beaches
The area abounds in beaches with a quiet clean sandy beach just 500 metres from the cottage! The longest beach in Ireland stretches from the Maharees westwards through Castlegregory to Cloghane village – 12 miles in length.
There is a Blue Flag beach in the Maharees. All of the beaches are sandy, and many are suitable for surfing and other watersports. The sea water is clean throughout the entire area.
Within Walking Distance
Castlegregory is an ideal base from which to tour the Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula and regional cities Cork and Limerick. For those who wish to enjoy the outdoor life, the Castlegregory area is richly adorned with beaches, mountains and lakes.
Facilities available locally include: Mountain Hiking, Horse Riding, Golf, Lake Fishing, Sea Angling, Windsurfing, SCUBA diving, Sailing. The golf course seen below is bounded by the mountains, Lough Gill and the sea.
