The fishing port of Rossaveal is located 36km to the west of the bustling city of Galway and from here a ferry service operates to the nearby
Aran Islands
in Galway Bay. Comprising of three islands, Inis Mór, Inis Óirr and Inis Meáin, these islands, which are rich in history, have attracted visitors for many years.
It is also an excellent base from which to explore the stunning landscape and the sweeping seascapes of
Connemara
– one of Ireland’s most popular holiday destinations.
Directions
From Galway;
Drive onto the Coast Road for Spiddal/Barna. From Spiddal, drive straight ahead and on towards the harbour in Rossaveal. Once you reach the harbour, turn right. You will see a pub on the right hand side, take the road next to the pub. The holiday homes are on the right.
