The windsurfing school and horse riding centre at Rusheen Bay are just 5 minutes' walk away.
Barna Woods and Cappagh Road park and pitches are also located only a short walk away, providing a great play area for children and a great location for walks along the Silverstrand beach.
Galway city offers numerous pubs, festivals, and tourist attractions such as Lynch's Castle, the Spanish Arch, and the medieval fishing village of the Claddagh (made famous by the Claddagh ring). Enjoy a coffee on Shop Street and people-watch, or enjoy a pint and traditional Irish music in the numerous pubs in the city. Time your stay to coincide with the Galway Arts Festival, the Oyster Festival, The Cuirt International Literature Festival, or the world-famous Galway Races.
For the adventurous types, Derroura mountain bike trail in Oughterard is a 30-minute drive away, and there are numerous walking trails in the area, as well as fishing on Lough Corrib.

Further afield, the apartments provide a fantastic base to explore Connemara, with the Connemara National Park and Kylemore Abbey within easy reach. Drive 40 minutes to Rossaveal and take the ferry to the Aran Islands, where you can explore the wild, windswept islands on a day trip.
The world-renowned Burren, with its limestone landscape and unique flora is an hour's drive south of the apartments.
