Welcome to Clochard
This is a family run friendly bed and breakfast located in Galway city. Clochard is located in a historical site and is surrounded by a high wall and defence tower. When you stay here you are just a few minutes walk from the city centre and the beach.
The home is centrally heated with a garden for guest use and there is also a payphone in the property. Private car parking is on hand. In the morning, you will be able to choose from a wide breakfast menu. Property cannot accommodate children under 6 years of age.

When driving: Pass Galway Cathedral, turn left at the lights. Houses is on left opposite National School on Shantalla Road.
Galway is regarded by many as the cultural capital of Ireland. There is so much for you to see and do here and the city is the gateway to magnificent. In Eyre Square, enjoy some shopping in its great shops and view the Cannons which were presented to the Connaught Rangers at the end of the Crimean War. Venture eastwards to Portumna and enjoy some angling or golf in its excellent facilities. There is something for everyone in Galway.
There are four rooms available which include two double rooms en suite, a twin room en suite and a triple room en suite. All rooms are non smoking and include the following as standard – cable TV, orthopaedic beds, hair dryers and tea/coffee making facilities.
Take a trip into Galway city, dine in one of many beautiful restaurants or enjoy a spot of shopping. If you would like to excape the city for a day why not take the journey to Connemara, the Aran Island or the Burren region all of which offer fantastic photo oportunities.
