Directions - Take the main Galway Clifden Road N59 through Moycullen and Oughterardas far as Recess, where you turn left for Carna. Or take the Connemara Coast Road through Barna, Spiddal to Costelloe, where you turn right for Screeb. At Screeb turn left for Carna. International flights fly direct to Dublin or Shannon, then local flights, train or coach, or hire car from Dublin to Galway, or coach or hire car from Shannon to Galway. If arriving on a ferry allow 6 hours for the drive from Cork, Rosslare, or Dublin, 5 hours from Belfast.

This is a lovely hotel with really helpful staff. Lovely location for remoteness and seeing Connemara. Would certainly return.

The hotel was further from Galway than I expected,but we really enjoyed our stay here the staff were extremly friendly and helpful,and gave us very good advice on places to visit.
