Windsor Lodge is a superb period B&B; nestled in Sandycove, Dun Laoghaire. It commands stunning views of Scotmans Bay and is only a fifteen minute drive to the city centre and a seven minute drive to the ferry. This accommodation has four en suite guestrooms including a double room, a twin room and a room with a double and single bed. It also offers guests private off street parking. Windsor Lodge has a great location whether you are on a romantic break or a family holiday, as it is surrounded by lots to see and do.

From the ferryport: Walk along the seafront (sea on left) for 1km. When you reach the Martello Restaurant take a right and Windsor Lodge B&B is the third house on the left. We are a 1 minute walk from the Sandycove Dart Station. The Dart takes 20 minutes to reach the city centre. Express bus to/from Dublin Airport picks up/drops off 1 minute walk from Windsor Lodge. The property is 18km from Dublin airport via the East Link Toll Bridge or if you are using the M50 it is 35km from the airport.
Dun Laoghaire is rich in maritime history and scenic beauty and is recognised as Dublin’s premier resort town. The town itself it dotted with fine restaurants, pubs and nightclubs and also boasts a major attraction in the National Maritime Museum. It is an excellent base for touring the west coast and Dublin city with its attractions like The Guinness Storehouse, Dublin Castle, O’Connell Street and Temple Bar.

Mary was really nice and helpful. Great breakfast and the room was very comfortable. Location for arriving at Dublin airport was great but not in the city, which we liked.
