Directions

From the airport:
Exit the airport; join the M1 by taking the 2nd exit off the
roundabout signposted for Dublin.
From the M1 join the M50 southbound.
Go through the West link toll bridge, toll charge in operation.
Stay on the M50 southbound. Take the slip road sign posted for Dundrum/Sandyford exit 13.
At the roundabout take the 3rd exit, road running parallel to the
M50 (signposted Sandyford). Turn left at 1st traffic lights.
At the 2nd traffic lights the Hotel is on your right but to enter turn
right, and right again, car park located on your right. Once in the car park, follow signs for The Beacon Hotel.

From City Centre:
From O’Connell Street, go across O’Connell Bridge follow the road around bringing you onto Dame Street. At the second set of traffic lights take a left. Continue along Georges Street, Aungier Street to Camden Street,
follow the road around to the left and take the first left. Continue along this road, through Ranelagh and Goatstown and the Goat Grill is on your right. Continue up this road to the Blackthorn Drive junction and take a
left. The Beacon Hotel is on your right. To the car park take another right and right again to the underground car park

From the West
Travel along the M4 until you reach the M50 and head southbound on the M50.Take the slip road sign posted for Dundrum/Sandyford. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit, road running parallel to the
M50 (signposted Sandyford). At the 2nd traffic lights the Hotel is on your right but to enter turn
right, and right again, car park located on your right. Once in the car park, follow signs for The Beacon Hotel.

The only reservation I would have in recomending this hotel is that it is not quiet as close to the Luas stop as the hotels website would lead you to believe. It is a good 6-7 minute walk which can be a problem if you are in high heels!

Considering the overall cost was over 400 Euro I'm very disappointed with this hotel and will never recommend it or stay there again. The bed in the room is a low standard especially if you have a weak back. The water system in the hotel is poor and is very noisey. When in room you can hear the water pipes rattling (assume poor installation). There is also a bad smell in the rooms and despite opening windows the odour was still in the room. The TV was also sub standard as the sound and picture were not in sync. The bar & restaurant are good in the hotel though.
