I would say if you are just in Dublin for a drinking session / party then this hotel would be fine - as you will be able to sleep through the horrific noise that we had to suffer. Myself and a friend were down to run the Dublin marathon - we'd went through months of preparation and then were let down in the last moment by the hotel choice. We had wanted an early night (bed by 10, up for 6am) but then the party started below us in the joint hotel bar Buskers. A live band started approx 10pm, then disco after 12 - music went on til nearly 2.45am - I could nearly name you the whole set list - room vibrated with the base, coffee cups rattled in the cabinet - absolutely horrific. Got less than 2hrs sleep and this didn't help during the marathon. Couldn't change rooms as we were told there were none available and then we were told we were the FIRST ever to complain about the noise!! lol what a bare faced lie. A shrug of the shoulders was the best we got, not even an apology. That's what annoyed us the most. So - in summary - if you plan to be in a commatosed state, or not going to sleep before 3am then this hotels fine - if however you're an older couple or down for another reason in Dublin and want an enjoyable experience in Dublin DO NOT book here.

We enjoyed staying at Temple Bar because it is so central to many of Dublin's attractions. The staff were extra helpful and courteous.

friendly, helpfull staff, good location an value for money. Perfect for a large group/sporting weekend. Those who had the breakfast said it was excellent and value for money.

Booked a table for breakfast and the waiter was very rude not at all helpful to the point we left the restruant and bought breakfast elsewere.

Convenient for City Centre. Would be noisy at weekend but on Monday and Tuesday was fine

A super hotel with great amenities,fantastic location in the heart of temple bar.Had a hire car so was great to have parking facilities across the road for it. Would definatlely return to this hotel.Appreciated the free wi fi.

Comfortable, convenient walking to everything. Noisy, but it is in the center of the Temple Bar area - big party area, but worth it for the convenience. We travel a lot to NYC and these rooms are spacious in comparison.

Temple Bar Hotel was a clean, safe, and convenient place to stay. The noise from the street, however, was constant through the night. If you are a sound sleeper, this is the place for you.

I was traveling with my young adult children-ages 21 and 23. My sister and I were able to avail ourselves of the local scene and then to bed, and my kids could party away with the crowd. The hotel was lovely-I did read online some comments about noise, but we did not experience any. The front desk staff was knowledgable about the local geography and very nice to us. The breakfasts were wonderful. If you are young or traveling with young adults, this is the place to be!!

Good location--very central for walking to many sites outside of Temple Bar such as Trinity College and the Post Office for its historical value. The area was a bit noisy--we were there on a Sunday and Monday night--but not so noisy that we couldn't sleep.

The hotel staff was very helpful and the room was spacious and cleaned daily. The location was ideal for travelling we were in the heart of Dublin. Great opportunity to shop, eat and be entertained within a five minutes walk.
