We were very disappointed with our stay, we were on the 3rd floor, the Hotel doesn't have a lift, we didn't see this on the website, apparently it states this, there was no wardrobe in our room, just a rail in an alcove, neither of the lamps worked, the shower was very weak and water cold, the entire decor was very shabby, the location is ideal, i wouldnt stay there again and certainly would not recomend it to anyone.

I had a great stay, Will definatly be staying again. Friends that were over will be returning in August they had booked Bewleys but have now changed their booking to The Kildare Hotel for a week, Value for Money, Location, Great Staff.

Hotel très bien placé dans Dublin et a prix très raisonnable. Idéal pour visiter Dublin et sortir le soir à pied. Je recommande cet hotel simple, mais suffisant quand on ne cherche pas un tres grand luxe.

Hotel was quiet with lovely staff, we would have liked tea making facilities & shampoo in the room however. Our view was over the back of the kitchens, but we did only pay 35 quid so can't really complain!

I was delighted with the cleanliness of the place and the value for money. I did not have breakfast as they started as I had to leave before breakfast started.

Location was perfect for me. Right across from Trinity College and minutes away from Temple Bar.

Ease of booking and its brilliant central position. The staff were very relaxed and always friendly,the rooms were basic, a bit hot and airless, but clean and good.

Lovely rustuc accomodation, real irish feel about it. If they worked out the stairs problem (No lift), they could really sell themselves better. apart from that we thought it was a great original accomdation in old dublin

Location is great; very convenient to Temple Bar, Trinity College, and downtown Dublin sites. If you stay here; plan on staying up late both Friday and Saturday night. They have live irish music/dancing in the downstairs bar. Thin walls in the rooms so you can hear everything going on in the bar until it closes and in rooms nearby. The only other annoying part of staying here is that they make you give them your room key when you leave and lock the doors so you have to enter from the bar all the time. Sometimes it is difficult to get someone to go get you your key to let you back in your room. I would recommend this hotel maybe for short durations or during the week. Would be a great place to stay on the weekend if you plan on staying out very late.

For the money, I can't believe you can beat it. Right on the edge of the shopping district and near the museums. Nothing we needed was more than a 10 minute stroll.

Over all this was a very good hotel. Based in a good location about a ten minute walk into Temple Bar. Very good value for money and would definately stay there on a future visit.

The initial impression was not great as there was nobody working at the desk and we were left waiting for 15 minutes. However, that was the only negative. When we finally met them, the staff were really helpful and polite. The room was lovely and clean and larger than expected. We only stayed one night but we both really liked the hotel. Happy Valentine's Day! Fantastic value *****
