John and Mary (hydra house) are really friendly. The rooms are a little bit small but there is a living room for use (reading etc) and a fine cosy breakfast room. John and Mary recommended us a lot of "to do" tips for Dublin. The separate bathroom is big and very clean, the shower a little bit hot and little bit a lack of pressure into the water system, so the shower was not "powerful". The bathtub was nice. The Hydra House is very cosy, clean and recommendable, 1.2 mile ahead of O Connol street (Centre). Buses stop every 5 minutes arround the corner, its easy travelling to the centre.

Hydra House was a OK accomodation for few days. Location is really quiet, 3 stops by bus to center of Dublin, so ca. 10 min to center. Bus stop is about 3 min walk from a house. There are lots of buses going to center within 5minutes. To airport is around 10min by taxi. Location is really good I think, if dont want to stay in really hectic and noisy streets down to center. Hydra House is OK, room is clean also bedroom and bathroom. Hosts are nice people, friendly and very warm people. Breakfast is ok for a price. Breakfast is a normal Irish breakfast, not so much of change each day. Just same stuff everyday but they are OK. So, this is a value for money accomodation. Shower is not so good, it is too weak and you dont really get a hot water. More likely just cold water. It is a negative side of this B & B.
