The piece-de-resistance at Citywest is the Christy O'Connor Jnr designed international championship golf course. Citywest, recognised as being one of the most outstanding courses now being played at international level, hosted the 1994 Iveco Irish Masters Championship which was won by Des Smyth.

Golfing supremos Sandy Lyle and Ian Woosnam who recently visited citywest, were lavish in their praise and admiration for the quality of the Club facilities and the excellent standard of the practice facilities.
Description
Citywest Golf Club holds major attractions for both the novice and more seasoned golfer. While membership is available, it is not a prerequisite for enjoyment of all the Club's facilities. Moderate green fees operate 7 days a week. Clubs, trollies, buggies and lockers are available for hire. There are caddies on call. The club professional offers expert tuition and advice which can be put into practice in the flood-lit 20 bay driving range.

Once back at the 19th. you can workout in the fully fitted gym or ease the rigours of the day with a soothing sauna. The in-house pro. shop stocks a wide and varied rage of international brand clubs, top quality shoes, knitwear, accessories and designer trophies.
