The Academy Plaza is a top class hotel in a great location.The thing that I noticed most about the hotel was how clean everything was. Everything was spotless, even places that experience heavy traffic such as the lifts, they were shining. The room was first class, a lovely comfortable bed and great decor and en suite. We booked the GoIreland two night b&b special offer and it was great value. The breakfast was very good,loads of good quality food and unlike other hotels the food was piping hot and not luke warm as you often get. All in all the Plaza is a great hotel for a city break.

Located just off the Lobby, our cosmopolitan styled bar has been tastefully furnished to a very high standard. Food is served throughout the day and evening in the bistro area and live music will soon be a nightly event. one of the unique features of the bar is the raised seating area with a large floor to ceiling bay window, complete with a full size marble and brass chandelier. The Decor of the ceiling is a relaxing 'cloudy sky effect which at night turns into a blanket of twinkling stars.
