Public Transport
There is a regular bus service from Stillorgan to the city centre from 7am to approximately 11pm.
There is a Bus Corridor to the city centre which means no traffic delays.
There is also a bus service from Dublin Airport to Stillorgan. It is the bus No. 746. you can get off at the Stop after Stillorgan Shopping Centre (Stillorgan Park).
The nearest Bus stop is beside Bondi Beach Club, cross the dual carriageway as you head towards Stillorgan. When coming home get off at the first stop after the Shopping Centre. This will save you having to walk across the dual carriageway. If you would like to take the train (DART) the nearest station is in Blackrock (10-15 minutes walk from here). The DART goes North to Howth and South to Bray and goes approx. every 20 minutes from 7am to 11.30pm. It goes approx. every 5 minutes during peak times. The DART has now been extended to Malahide on the North side and Greystones on the South Side.
From Dublin Aiport The bus leaves the airport approximately every 20 minutes. There is a stop in Stillorgan Village. Make sure you ask the driver for the Stillorgan destination before getting on bus.

This is operated by Dublin bus and is a fantastic way to see and learn about Dublin city. You can get an all day pass and this will allow you to hop off at whatever tourist attraction takes your fancy!

Dublin Castle Dublin Castle was built in the 13th century. Today the castle is used for important State receptions and Presidential Inaugurations. Guided tours are available.
National Museum of Ireland, Kildare Street.
The National Museum of Ireland was opened in 1890 and contains artifacts dating from 7000 BC to the 20th century including the famous Ardagh Chalice, Tara Brooch and the Derrynaflan Hoard.
Dublin Zoo
Dublin zoo is located in Dublin 8 and is home to a wide range of exotic and beautiful animals.
