We wish to let you know about important & exciting new developments taking place here at the Ashling Hotel Dublin at present.

The old wing of the Ashling Hotel Dublin has been demolished including the existing reception, bar, restaurant, kitchen, and the 50 original bedrooms. In its place we are constructing a fabulous 8 storey building encompassing 130 stylish new superior bedrooms, Cobblestones Bistro, Guinness Lounge, brand new conference rooms and all the necessary facilities. In the meantime, we very much want to maintain continuity to our business and continue to provide services to our customers. We have provided an alternative reception, restaurant and bar all located on the 2nd floor, which we are delighted to say has been very well received by guests to date. The multi storey car park (free to residents) will be in operation as usual along with several meeting rooms. The Ashling Hotel Dublin entrance can now be accessed from Montpelier Hill at the rear of Parkgate Street, don’t worry it is well sign posted!

During the period of construction the Ashling Hotel Dublin will be doing everything to minimise any possible disturbance or disruption to guests. If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact the Ashling Hotel Dublin directly.

The Ashling Hotel is just across the Liffey from the world famous Guinness Storehouse. Just down the road in the Smithfield Village area, is the Jameson Distillery, founded in 1780, and the Chimney Viewing Tower.
A little further towards the city centre is the centre of Dublin’s nightlife, Temple Bar. Christchurch Cathedral is also well worth a visit.
Within 10kms
Venturing further outside the city, via the DART you will find Malahide Castle and Demesne and Howth fishing village and marina - Well worth a look.
There are many golf courses available in the Dublin area such as Luttrelstown, Portmarnock and Hollystown.

We had gone to Dublin to celebrate the New Year and could hardly believe it when the hotel bar closed 5 minutes after midnight. As you can imagine we were very, very dissapointed. There was a vending machine which sold alcholic beverages, but only took coins and the hotel reception was not able to give residents change to use in the machine. I would have expected (under the circumstances) the bar to have stayed open later, if only for residents.
