This was the nicest, most comfortable and beautifully decorated B + B we stayed in during our 10 day stay in Ireland. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. John was so knowledgeable about the local area and both him and his wife made us feel incredibly welcome. Breakfast was lovely. It's a shame we didn't stay longer as we were travelling home the next day.

The welcome was really disappointing as John just showed us quickly the accomodation awaiting for the money for the 5 nights that we finally paid the next morning. The bedroom was not too clean and quite noisy (facing a road)- However we expressed this small points to John and also the need to move forward the breakfast time he just called his wife who explained to us that we are not in a hotel here ! with a rude tone....unbelievable..However the breafast normally set up from 07.00 to 09.00 am was finally moved until 09.30 even on the New Year day !! which was unacceptable as no flexibility was given. All the 5 breakfast, John tried to convice us to get an Irish breakfast with was made up with sausages and eggs, not really fresh and tasty (I was sick afterwards)The continental one was really poor without any home-made product at all no cookies nothing ! amazing ! John worned the same pull over during our 6 days stay which impressed us ! Finally the last day, he obliged us to leave at 11.00 am ...and at 11.15 he expressed this need with a rude and condescanding tone! not friendly at all- We have been really disappointed and do not recommand at all this guesthouse. Kind regards
