This is the oldest race course in Ireland as racing began here in 1685. It is a National Hunt and Flat type course, measuring 1 mile and 2 furlongs. The most famous meeting that is held here is the Powers Whiskey Ulster National Run, which is held in Feburary. Other meeting are held in March,May, August (Ladies' Day), September, November and December. There new state of-the-art grand stand is open and can hold up to 1500 spectators. Corporate boxes can also be hired out during the races.
