Directions
St. Johns Point is one of Ireland’s longest peninsulas, at six miles long. It leads to a beautiful, safe, sandy beach and a lighthouse. Our house is situated half way down the point and the name is above the front door. On the point road you pass, the award winning restaurant and bar, Castle Murray House Hotel and a small thatched Weavers Cottage which is still in use today. From Donegal Town, take the N56, by-pass Mountcharles, go through Dunkineely and take the next left for the point road, which is sign posted, follow this road for three miles and Teachin Na Mara is on the left.... If you are to continue on the N56 towards Killybegs, you will pass through Bruckless, a tiny village, with a general store, petrol and Catholic Church. A further five minutes drive finds you in Killybegs, the largest port in Ireland. Comprehensive information folder can be found at the house (details of restaurants, entertainment, maps and general information on the area and the tourist attractions)
