If you want to retreat to the peace and quiet of the countryside, then this is the place to stay. Oakdale Farmhouse is a family run bed & breakfast located about 2km from the picturesque town of Glenties in County Donegal. It's on the N56, the main road to Donegal Town and Ardara.
There are four bedrooms. All are comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast is included in the price and there's also a lounge/sitting room with an open fire where guests can relax in the evenings.
This is a great spot for activity holidays. There are some really nice walking routes including the Bluestack Way. For the angling enthusiast there's the Owenaa River as well as a number of nearby lakes while golf, pony trekking and horse riding are also very popular in the area.
