The hotel is located on the N13 which is the main route connecting Derry & Letterkenny.  It is centrally located and is only 10 - 15 minutes from Letterkenny, Derry and Buncrana.

The Hotel offers 43 modern styled rooms that share the same elegant style and charsima.  All rooms have en suite facilities and boast a dedicated seating area, flat screen tv's, hair dryer and Tea & Coffee making facilities. 

There is a great range of dining options available with the Fort Bar Menu that is sure to satisfy your eating desires.  The 'Old Church Restaurant' which is unique in its offerings since being renovated from an old Church to the main Restaurant for the Hotel.  It not only offers a delicate array of fine dining options but the setting in itself is one not to be rivalled.  

There is also two bars on site at the Hotel that ooze ambience and possess a cosy relaxing feel.  The Hotel is also able to cater for Conferencing events with two suites available, the larger of which can cater for up to 350 people.  

An Grianan Hotel also offers guests the chance to rest in the Grianan Gardens which mirrors the local rolling hills of Donegal and stays in touch with it's historical roots such as the local Grianan of Aileach Fort.

Grianan
The magnificent ancient stone fort is located at the top of the hill and was built in 1700 BC. It is approximately 2 kms from the hotel and is featured in all of the guide books for North Donegal.
Inch Lake
Inch Lake is located just 1 km from the hotel and is widely regarded as one of the top ten bird migration centers in Ireland.
Letterkenny, the chief town and ecclesiastical capital of County Donegal, overlooks Lough Swilly where the River Swilly drains into the lough. The Letterkenny Folk Festival brings together many European folk-dance teams every August.

The restaurant is located in the old church where you can enjoy a relaxing ambience while tucking into some fine cuisine. The restaurant has kept its original style, which includes stain glass windows and a timber framed roof. This fantastic restaurant serves a wide range of fresh food, which has been cooked to perfection. An extensive wine menu is also available.
Please reserve a table to avoid disappointment.
Restaurant is closed Monday - Thursday.
Evening meals available in the Lounge 5pm - 9pm daily.
