ballyarnett nature walk

This nature walk was originally the Ballyarnett Racecourse track renowned for its steeplechasing from as early as 1700 until 1926. Development along the fringe of the course restricted its use for horse racing and in recent years the majority of the old track has been developed as a nature trail for all to enjoy. The area now offers a variety of activities suitable for all ages set amidst some of Derry's finest scenic landscape.
