Richaldine House is a family-owned business, run by warm and friendly people. It is situated on the N22 which is the main route from Cork to Killarney. It is 0/5 kilometres from Macroom town centre and is a 7 minute walk. It is 50 meters west of the Topaz petrol station (west of the town).

Property does not accept credit cards so balance is to be paid in cash.

Directions

The B&B is located 1km from Macroom town in the direction of Killarney. We are situated 25 Kilometres from Cork airport. 2 hours driving from Dublin & Shannon airports.

Within Walking Distance

In the town there are: Hotels, Restaurants of various oriental choices, pizzeria, bar and grill.
Entertainment: Cinema and also music nights.
Activities: Fishing, 18 hole golf course, sports complex and river walks.
Fishing licences may be bought locally.
A guide who has qualifications in youth as well as adult fishing trips can be hired. (International representative for Ireland).

Description

All rooms are en-suite with tea and coffee, hairdryers, ironing facilities TV and Wi-Fi. Accommodation consists of double, single, twin and triple rooms.
There is ample parking to the front and rear of the accommodation. There is even a secure overnight facility for bicycles on the property. Richaldine caters for families of all ages.

Within the town of Macroom you have a choice of excellent restaurants all within a few minutes walk of the B&B. Your hostess is more than willing to assist you in any information that you may need throughout your stay.  Local tourist attractions include the site of Michael Collins ambush at Beal na Blath, the Famine graveyard, Gougane Barra monastic settlement and the site of Kilmichael ambush.

Mature couple

The warmest of welcomes. A real home from home. Nothing was too much trouble. A hearty breakfast, with a variety of hot or cold meals, all done with a smile. Spotless rooms with constant hot water. Complete with en suite. Would definitely use again and recommend to all.
