I was very impressed by the warm hospitality and friendliness during my stay at Ardeen. The owner is very enthusiastic and keen to help with any queries on the local area and activities available. As a sole traveller I chose a smaller business which I thought would offer a more personal service and this was exactly the case. Ardeen B&B has real character and offers a genuine experience as well as a home from home, with access to a kichen and a sitting room giving guests a chance to mingle. And of course the real fire was a welcoming sight in the evening. It is also ideally located with great harbour views and all in all offers great value for money.

Melissa was the best host of our trip around Ireland. She really went the extra mile and made us feel at home. She gave us fantastic insight into the local attractions and prepared fantastic breakfasts for us each morning. The view from our room overlooked the Cobh harbour.
