This route stretches from Murroe in Co Limerick to the village of Silvermines in Co Tipperary, a distance of approximately 30km/18mls. The route starts near the renowned Glenstal Abbey and skirts the shoulders of Slieve Felim, Mauher Slieve Hills, and Keeper Hill. While avoiding the peaks, the route provides a host of scenic views and it is possible to see parts of Counties Clare, Limerick, Offaly and Tipperary or different locations. It is generally agreed that the most scenic aspects are seen when walking from Murroe to Silvermines. Route Details: Murroe, Toor, Silvermines. Total Distance: 30km/19 miles.
