Fortview Farmhouse provides excellent B&B; accommodation in an idyllic setting near the town of Belturbet in County Cavan. Here you will experience the real essence of country living as this property is situated on a working farm, which grows its own fresh vegetables and dairy produce.
The B&B; has six guestrooms including a twin room not ensuite, three ensuite triple rooms and one triple room not ensuite. Fortview is the perfect accommodation for you if you are looking for a base for your fishing holiday, as it has a cold room and a drying tackle room.

The hostess arranged for a fishing guide for us, and even though it wasnt the best of the season, we really enjoyed getting out into the countryside, and we did catch some fish. She also loaned us some Wellingtons and raincoats! The bedroom was a tight fit for a double bed and a twin bed for our friend traveling with us and for all our luggage, but it was comfortable and everything worked well. Breakfast was great. The place is easy to find, and we felt well looked after.
