Rental Qualifications - Hirers must be aged between 21 - 75 and have held a full drivers license for at least one year. Age requiremnts may vary from vehicle to vehicle please inquire at time of reservation for specific age requirements. In many cases endorsed licenses are accepted depending on the circumstances. Payment - A deposit of 10% must be paid by the hirer to GoIreland at the time of rental. Once a booking is made, this deposit is strictly non-refundable. Most car renters accept major credit card details as deposits on rental. If this is not appropriate then a cash deposit will be required. Cheques are accepted with valid bankers card. All deposits are deductible for loss or damage to the car. Rates - The rates presented by GoIreland are subject to change but no change shall be made after the time of booking witout the hirers consent. Rates do not include fuel costs. Optional Waivers - Unfortunately accidents are a fact of life. Collision Damage Waiver ( CDW ) and Loss Damage Waiver ( LDW ) are insurance policies which eliminate the hirers liability in the case of loss or damage to the car. A non-waivable deductible may apply. Other products such as Personal Accident Insurance ( PAI ), Personal Effects Coverage ( PEC ), Theft Protection Coverage ( TPC ) and Supplemental Liability Insurance ( SLI ) may be purchased at the time of rental. Availability - Every effort is made to supply the vehicle type you reserved. However, if that vehicle is not available a suitable alternative will be found. One Way Rental - Can be provided by arrangement at most air and ferry ports. Drop charges may apply. Additional Driver - Only the driver named on the lease document is entitled to drive the vehicles. Additional drivers can be accommodated for a minimal charge at the time of hire. Notice - In the case of non-arrival without adequate prior notice, the hirer shall be responsible for the entire cost of rental to the car rental company.
