Armagh Public Library was founded in 1771 by Archbishop Richard Robinson. His personal Library forms the nucleus of the collection and many more books have been added over the past two centuries. The subject matter of the collection covers a wide range of subjects including philosphy, travel, theology, history, law, classical and modern literature. One of the more famous books is a first edition of 'Gullivers Travels', with marginal amendments in the handwriting of Dean Swift....
