The Giants Causeway This is Northern Irelands only World Heritage site and one of the most renowned visitor attractions in Ireland. Over 60 million years ago the Giants Causeway came about from a volcanic eruption, now the area is renowned for its natural beauty and layered basalt rock. Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge The rop bridge is built over a 23 meter deep and 20 meter wide crevis conecting the mainland to Carrick Island. The bridge was originally buit by fishermen in order for them to check their Salmon nets. Now adays people flock here for the challenge and the areas stunning beauty. On a good day one can see Rathlin island and Scotland. Old Bushmills Distillery This is one of the worlds oldest licensed distillerys, steeped in history visitors can take a tour to see exactly how Bushmills Whiskey is made and some of the ingredients used, incuded in the tour is a complimentary glass of the whiskey.
