Buffy Lough
Access to this lough is along the bye road beside the entrance to Ross Lake Hotel, Roscahill, Oughterard, and this bye road leads to within a short walk to Buffy Lough. There is a good stock of small brown trout in the lough and angling conditions are good all around its shores.

Drimneen River
The Drimneen River flows past Aughenure Castle, Oughterard, and it enters Lough Corrib south west of Corrib View Bay. The river is best known as a spawning tributary for trout and salmon from Lough Corrib.
