Lough Kip
This lough is reached by travelling over a bog road off the Moycullen/Barna road and the lough is close to where this by-road ends. There is a good stock of small brown trout present and fishing is good from April onwards. Angling is from the shore only.

Lough Atavamore
Access to this lough is off the Moycullen/Spiddal road about one and a half miles from Moycullen. The lough, which is over the hill to the west of this road, holds small brown trout and angling is from the shore only.

Lough Kip River
The Lough kip River drains a number of small brown trout loughs south and west of Moycullen village. The river flows into Lough Ballyquire - a cyprinid fishery - one mile east of Moycullen. There is a good stock of small brown trout present throughout the river. Salmon move up from Lough Corrib in the winter months for spawning in this river.
