This small river, known locally as the Knock River, flows to the sea through the village of knock between Inveran and Spiddal, and drains Lough More, Lough Bealcooan and loughaunagun, all small loughs high in the hills and holding small brown trout. The river might be worth tryng in spate conditions. Very little fishing takes place on these loughs as they are somewhat accessible. There is a bog road close to the village of knock which leads to within half mile of the largest lough, Lough Bealcooan, but the road is in bad condition and difficult to travel on.
