Tully Lough
This is the first lough on the Ballynahowan System. It is located on the north side of the Spiddal/Costello road about a half mile from Ballynahowan Crossroads. This lough holds a stock of brown trout and the sea trout run into it from late in the month of June onwards.

Lough Naskanniva
This lough is just a few hundred yards upstream from Tully Lough. As with Tully Lough this lough also holds a stock of brown trout with the sea trout running into it from late in the month of June onwards to the end of the season.

Lough Adooraun
Access to this lough can be gained from the by-road that leads to Lough Fada on the Crumlin System. Lough Adooraun is located a little over half a mile to the west of this by-road. It is mainly a brown trout fishery but with favourable flood conditions at the right time sea trout often enter this lough.

Lough Oughterglanna
This lough is to the north east of Lough Adooraun and access to it is by the same route as for that lough. Lough Oughterglanna is a brown trout fishery often yielding fish up to three quarters of a pound in weight.

Lough Aglanna
This is the topmost lough in the Ballynahowan Fishery. Like Lough Oughterglanna, which is a quarter of a mile downstream from it, this lough holds only brown trout.

Lough Nagarvin (Ballynahowan Lough)
This lough is situated close to the junction of the Ballynahowan/Rossaveel roads. It holds a very good stock of brown trout with plenty of fish in the half to three quarter pound range. On occasions, fish of four pounds in weight have been recorded as having been caught on this lough. The fishing on lough Nagravin is generally good right through the season from April to the end of September. Permits for shore fishing are available for this lough.
