This fishery is located six miles west of the village of Roundstone to the north of the Roundstone/Ballyconneely Road. The fishery consists of the following loughs, Barroween Lough, Emloughkeeragh Lough, Maumeen Lough, some small un-named loughs and the tidal lough at Callow Bridge known as The Pool. Fishing is mainly for brown trout and sea trout, but at times some salmon enter these waters as well. The sea trout fishing commences in early June, but the better fishing is usually from the month of July onwards to the end of the season. Spring salmon enter the lower section of the fishery and are often caught in The Pool during the month of April. Fly fishing only is allowed on the Loughs.
