The Ballinaboy River also flows into Ardbear Bay at Ballinaboy Bridge, and drains a large number of loughs. There are very good runs of sea trout into this system from early in the month of July to the end of the season. Brown trout are fairly plentiful in most of the lakes. The principal loughs in this system are Ballinaboy Lough, Lough Enask, Lough Fada, Lough Agh, Lough Tawnagreggaun, Clooagat Lough, Conga Lough, Lough Scannive, Lough Naweelaun and Lough Nasoodery. Part of this fishery is owned by Major McCausland, and is not for letting.
