About the show...
The Coastal Ballet School is coming to The Helix in February with their new 2008 classical dance recital A Ballet for All Seasons. The Coastal Ballet School is a school for kids in Drogheda and they will be bringing their talents to this show for the viewing public.
There will be two shows that begin at 3.30pm & 7.30pm on Saturday 2nd of February. Tickets are 12.50.
How to get to the Helix...
The Helix is located in the Dublin City University (DCU) Campus in Glasnevin, which is roughly about 10km north west of Dublin city centre. The best way to get there from the city centre is to hop on bus numbers 4, 11, 11A, 11B, 13, 13A and 19A.
If driving from Dublin city centre, take the N1 north towards Drumcondra. Continue on towards the M1 until you get to the junction at Whitehall. Here take a left onto Collins Avenue and as you drive along this street you should see DCU on the left after the St. Aidans CBS.
If travelling from outside Dublin city you firstly need to get on the M50 ringroad. Keep on the M50 until you reach the Ballymun exit (Junction 4). Once you take the exit you can drive through Ballymun and turn left at the Collins Avenue/Ballymun Road crossroads (approx 500 meters). At the second set of traffic lights turn right in to the entrance for DCU.
Dublin hotels closeby...
If you want to be close to the venue then choose hotels in Glasnevin like the 3-Star Glasnevin Maples Hotel or the 2-Star Sunnybank Hotel.
Other Dublin hotels closeby include the 3-star Regency Hotel and the Jurys Croke Park Hotel in Drumcondra. In nearby Santry you can check into the Express by Holiday Inn Dublin Airport.
