Flights to Dublin from Irish airports…

If you're in the Munster region and looking for a flight to Dublin, there are 3 airports to choose from. Your first choice is Shannon Airport in County Clare. Aer Lingus is the only airline operating a flight to Dublin, departing twice daily (these are early morning flights), and the length of journey is around 35 to 40 minutes.

Your second option is Cork Airport. There are only two airlines that fly from Cork Airport to Dublin Airport, Aer Arann and Ryanair. Both operate daily, with morning and evenings flights, and the duration of the flight is around 30 to 35 minutes minutes.

You can also opt to fly from Kerry Airport. Ryanair operates a daily service to Dublin. There are 3 flights each day and the duration is about 50 minutes. 

If you're in the west of Ireland, and looking for a flight to Dublin, Galway Airport and Sligo Airport, operate a route to Dublin. The only airline that accommodates this route is Aer Arann. The flight from both airports is about 20 to 30 minutes, with morning and evening flights.

Donegal Airport in the northwest of Ireland and Derry Airport in Northern Ireland, operate flights to Dublin as well via Aer Arann. The journey takes about 50 minutes.

Flights to Dublin from the UK…

There are a number of airports in the UK that fly to Dublin. Your best option is probably to travel from the main and most popular airports.

Here's a list of some of the airports and airlines that commute to Dublin Airport.

Heathrow Airport:
Aer Lingus and BMI are the only two airlines to operate this route from BAA Heathrow, the journey takes about 45 minutes and both airlines fly this route daily.

Gatwick Airport: 
If you want to commute from Gatwick Airport to Dublin Airport, there are three airlines that provide this route, Aer Lingus, Ryanair and British Airways, the journey takes about 1 hour and they all operate daily.

Liverpool Airport & Standsted Airport:
Liverpool Airport also known as the John Lennon Airport and Standsted Airport, both have a route to Dublin, and the only airline that provide this route from both airports is Ryanair, they operate flights seven days a week.

Manchester Airport:
If you wish to travel from Manchester to Dublin, then Ryanair and Aer Lingus are the only two airlines providing this route, they both operate daily and the journey is less than 1-hour.

Edinburgh Airport:
Both Ryanair and Aer Lingus operate flights from Edinburgh to Dublin.

Glasgow Prestwick Airport:
Ryanair operate flights from Glasgow Prestwick to Dublin.

Flights To Dublin From Mainland Europe…

Paris

Both Aer Lingus and Air France operate flights to Dublin from Paris Charles De Gaulle International Airport. Ryanair operate flights from Paris Beauvais Airport, which is located about 50 miles (80km) northwest of Paris. No worries about getting to Paris from the airport as there are excellent public transport links.

Madrid

From Madrid Barajas International Airport, you can fly with Aer Lingus, Ryanair and Iberia.

Barcelona

Aer Lingus fly from Barcelona Airport to Dublin and Ryanair operate flights from Reus Airport (about 110km from Barcelona) to Dublin, again there are really good public transport links to/from the city.

Frankfurt

Aer Lingus and Lufthansa fly from Frankfurt Airport to Dublin and Ryanair operate flights from Frankfurt Hahn Airporthttp://www.hahn-airport.de/, which is located about 124km from Frankfurt.

Rome

If you're travelling from Rome to Dublin, you have a couple of options. Ryanair operate a daily service from Ciampino Airport while Aer Lingus fly from Leonardo da Vinci / Fiumicino Airport to Dublin .

Flights to Dublin from the USA…

US airports operating flights to Dublin include Chicago O’Hare International Airport, Atlanta Airport, Boston Logan International Airport, New York JFK Airport, San Francisco Airport, Philadelphia Airport, Newark Airport, Washington Dulles Airport, Orlando Airport and Los Angeles Airport.

From Chicago, the airlines that commute to Dublin are Aer Lingus and American Airlines; from Atlanta it's Delta Airlines; from Boston, San Francisco, Washington D.C, Orlando and Los Angeles, it's Aer Lingus that provide the route; from Newark (in New York) it's Continental Airlines; from JFK Airport you can fly with Aer Lingus and Air France; from La Guardia you can fly with Air Canada and finally from Philadelphia it's U.S Airways that commute to Dublin.
