This family friendly art festival that runs over 4 days in late August on the shores of Lake Derg in the picturesque village of Terryglass is celebrating its 10th year! Clonmel boasts a strong and growing number of amateur dramatic societies which offer excellent productions of well-known and interesting plays and musicals. The Clonmel Theatre Guild, founded in 1969, presently produces three plays per season including their very successful Dinner - Theatre nights at the Clonmel Arms Hotel.

St. Mary's Choral Society, based in the White Memorial Theatre, Clonmel, produce at least three shows yearly, packed full of music, dance and laughs....

They prepare enjoyable, approachable food in the Spearman, and since the day they opened, standards have steadily improved as the Spearman family have gained more confidence.

Lunch is casual and enjoyable with its great multi-layered toasted sandwiches, the soups deep big pools of flavour, and the burgers snappy and upfront. Dinner is considerate and quietly accomplished, and one of their strong points is their fish cookery....

This community event welcomes people from far and wide to come and take part in all the enjoyable activities including the Family Fun Day and the selection of the 2008 Queen of the Galtees. There will also be a live open concert of the very popular Irish rock band Aslan. To top that all off there will be a spectacular display of fireworks on the closing night of this four day event....
