Old Fair Day in Dowra is reliving the fairs of long ago. It has fun fair street stalls, tug of war, sheep shearing, music on the streets. A Rose of the Fair is crowned on the first day of the event.

This festivak celebrates a traditioal event in East Cavan where by Bilberry picking on Lough an Lae mountain was followed by an evening of traditional music, dancing and storytelling.
